Go Back to the 90s in Victoria, BC


Grab your baggy combat pants, tie your hoodie around your waste and flip your baseball cap backwards: the Back to the 90s tour is coming to Victoria, BC this summer.
It’s a great opportunity to see all of your favourite acts come together for one night—and to wear some SERIOUSLY comfortable pants!
Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, Young MC and the C&C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams will all be taking to the stage at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on August 22.
The legend that is Vanilla Ice exploded onto the music scene in 1990-91 with his massive hit single, Ice Ice Baby. His went on to make more than 25 million album sales worldwide. During his career he has won 2 MTV Music Awards and a People’s Choice Award, and he has also been nominated for a Grammy Award.
Rob Base along with DJ E-Z Rock is best known for his hit It Takes Two. The single, and the album of the same name, went multi-platinum. He went on to release the dancefloor-stompers Get on the Dance Floor and Joy and Pain.
In 1990 Young MC won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance with his Top 10 smash hit Bust a Move. His album, Stone Cold Rhymin, went platinum and reached number nine on the album chart.
C&C Music Factory are best known for the 90s classics Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now), Here We Go (Let’s Rock & Roll), and Things That Make You Go Hmmmm… They have 35 music industry accolades to their name, including five Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards.
